Are you a sub elite athlete looking for your next PB?

If you are a sub elite athlete, I can easily relate to you!

I get it! Sport, training and competition is your professional hobby! You aren’t getting paid for training or competing and you are unlikely to make an Australian Team but that is not necessarily your driving force. Your driving force might be to make the next grade, qualify top in your age group or to break your all-time personal best. All great reasons for getting out of bed and dedicating yourself to being the best you can be.

So, why not BE the best that you can be.

When I was training for Ironman triathlons and trying to qualify for Hawaii I was lucky enough to have a personal coach who understood what it was going to take for me to compete at my best. He understood the principles of training and was able to monitor my training loads week in and week out making sure that I got the kilometres in, but also the important rest and recovery.

If you are a sub elite athlete, I can help you bridge the gap between where you are now and taking you to the next level. I can monitor your training loads every week and provide you with visual feedback and scientific explanation to ensure your training is periodised with necessary rest and recovery amongst the intense training, and remains within a ‘safe’ zone, where you are unlikely to get sick or injured.

I can work with you to understand and explain the science behind nutrition, hydration, sleep and recovery and provide you with strategies to maximise these areas of your training. I can write personalised training programs, if you don’t already have a coach and also strength and flexibility programs – both of which are essential when trying to be your best.

If you are a sub elite athlete looking for your next PB, consider bridging the gap between where you are now and where you can be.
